Christmas Trees
Christmas at Smith's starts with the tree. We stock non-drop Nordmann Firs from 4ft right up to around 20ft, plus pot-grown and potted trees and a full range of artificial ones. Our team will help you choose, then net it up for the car or for delivery.
Real Christmas trees
Our real trees arrive towards the end of November.
- Nordmann Fir (non-drop). Soft, glossy needles that hold well indoors. We stock plenty of 4ft, 5ft, 6ft, 7ft, 8ft and 9ft trees. A limited number of larger trees go up to around 20ft. Call us if you need something big.
- Pot-grown and potted trees. Pot-grown trees are grown in their pots, so they can go out in the garden after Christmas.
See it before you buy. Every tree comes netted. Our staff will unwrap any tree so you can take a proper look, then re-net it for your car or for delivery. Before it leaves, we cut a fresh slice off the base so it drinks well once it's home.
Delivery. We deliver locally, and buying a Christmas tree takes £10 off our usual delivery charge. Most deliveries are made the same day or the next day. See Delivery and Click & Collect or call 01895 233844.
Free offcuts for wreath-making. Making your own wreath or garland? Ask at the tree area. Offcuts from our Christmas trees are free to anyone who wants them.
Keeping your real tree fresh
- Stand it in water as soon as you get home. If it waits more than a few hours, cut another thin slice off the base first.
- Use a stand that holds water, and top it up every day. A tree can drink over a litre a day.
- Keep it away from radiators, fires and direct heat.
Finding us
Smith's is on the Oxford Road (A40) in Denham, a short drive from Uxbridge, Gerrards Cross, Ickenham, Harefield, Ruislip, Beaconsfield and the Chalfont's. We're outside ULEZ and have plenty of free parking. Make a day of it with Bertram's Café.
