COVID-19 updates for our returns policy:
Please note there will be NO REFUNDS on any Christmas decorations (including lights) unless the item is faulty. There will be no exchanges on any Christmas decorations or lights during December.
For items bought in-store: We will be happy to issue a full refund for any non-perishable* item within 28 days of purchase, returned to store with a receipt, providing it is in its original condition and packaging.
For Items bought online: We will be happy to issue a full refund for any non-perishable* item ordered online. You can return the product in-store with your order number (found in our emails to you). For bulky items we will endeavour to collect from you when our delivery drivers are in your area (this may incur an extra charge).
If you do not have the receipt or online order number as a proof of purchase then we will usually investigate the purchase ourselves. If we are able to establish proof of purchase, then we may issue a credit note. This is subject to the item being returned within 28 days from purchase and in its original packaging/condition. Unfortunately we cannot issue refunds of any kind without a receipt or order number.
If there is a problem with your delivery
All our deliveries are carried out by Smith’s staff. We do not use third party couriers. If you notice any issues with your delivery as it arrives please notify the member of staff delivering and we will aim to rectify it on the spot. For issues found after our driver has left please contact us via email with photos of the faulty item to explain the issue within 7 days of receipt.
Plants and turf are considered perishable items and cannot be returned unless faulty. Due to the nature of live plants, the items you receive may look slightly different from those pictured. Plants vary drastically throughout the year and may have grown, been pruned, deadheaded or have finished flowering between the photos being taken and the plant arriving with you. Minor transit damage may occur such as the odd snapped twig or crushed leaf, this will not affect the plants ability to thrive.
